Notice of a
public hearing
A public hearing for a joint notice of the proposed budget and millage to be levied will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter at the Village of Oxford Council Chamber located at 22 W. Burdick Street, Oxford, MI. MCL Section 211.24 (e) provides the Village of Oxford has complete authority to establish the number of mills to be levied from within its authorized millage rate. The property millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be the subject of this hearing. A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection at the Village office, 22 W. Burdick Street, or on the village website: www.thevillageofoxford.org. Public comments, whether oral or written, are welcome at the public hearing. Written comments can be mailed or emailed to clerk@thevillageofoxford.org.
