Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Township of Addison (Township) at a regular Board meeting on November 21, 2016. The meeting shall be held at Addison Township Offices at 1440 Rochester Rd. Leonard, MI. 48367. The Public Hearing is for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding year 2017 and shall commence at 6:00 pm or shortly thereafter.

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of CDBG funds, and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low and moderate income persons. The Township will consider any public comments on this matter at this time. The hearing is open to the public to voice their views or you may submit your comments in writing prior to the hearing. Please address those comments to the Clerk of the Township at the address above.

Approximately $8075 may be available to the Township to fund eligible projects that principally benefit low to moderate income persons. Please contact the Supervisor’s office if you have further questions or concerns on CDBG funding for the 2017 program year.
