Nov. 6: A 71-year-old Oxford Township woman was found dead at her home at 4:14 p.m. on the 700 block of Sebek St. She was found by her 46-year-old daughter and 44-year-old son, both of Lake Orion. Sheriff’s deputies found no signs of trauma or foul play. The woman’s daughter told sheriff’s deputies her mother had a history of health problems.
Nov. 6: A man was taken into custody by Oxford Village Police for refusing an operating while intoxicated (OWI) field test at 6:18 p.m., following an earlier report that the man had allegedly backed into a vehicle while intoxicated on S. Broadway St.
Nov. 5: Oxford Village Police received a call at 1:14 a.m. to report there were seven men fighting behind a bar located in the 30 block of S. Washington St. When police arrived, they were informed that the men had been having a verbal argument and had since left.
Oct. 31: Oxford Village Police received a call from a woman at 10:59 a.m., who reported she had been followed by a man from Oxford High School to her residence in the 500 block of Thornehill Trail. The man identified himself as a police officer and told her she had almost caused an accident before leaving the scene.
