Step-sibling squabble
Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from an Oxford home on March 4 after reports of possible domestic violence. Two step siblings, a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, got into an argument while pushing the family car into the garage to warm up. The girl told officers the boy, her step-brother, had made a comment about her father, who is reportedly critically ill, and hit then her. But, the boy told officers that she had hit him and he was just pushing her off. The mothers of the teens said they had recently become a conjoined family and that their children, all teens, had trouble getting along.
