Bob was a (retired) Teamster OTR Truck Driver, which extended in to his retirement through his love of traveling in an RV, enjoying races and a great game of Euchre. Find Eternal Peace and Love.
I will always remember the fishing trips. The trips in the truck, partnering in traveling euchre leagues, taking me to my first turkey shoot, and attending my football games to my graduation from the Police Academy. I hope you and Mom have met up in heaven and your finally found peace.
When I was little, he would tell my sister and I to stay up late and get ready to catch night crawlers because the next day, we were going fishing! Those words were like Christmas to us and we would stay up digging them up. He would take us fishing and teach us the ropes. We went night fishing once and I think that was his most fun trip as we sat next to a lamp and tested our skills. He would always laugh hysterically with that deep belly laugh when I would catch a teeny little guy. My daughter now goes fishing with her dad because that love of the outdoors is there.
