Usually we reserve the front page feature photo for our best photo — and usually those photos are taken by us. Not this week. We could not help but showcase this photo of Blake Marie Shalayko, who will be two this Saturday, with her first ice creamed “brain freeze.” This photo was taken at the end of March in front of the Frosty Boy on W. Burdick Street. She is the daughter of Heather and Steven Shalayko, both Oxford graduates. Heather is also owner of Simple Organics in town.
