Downtown Oxford’s Centennial Park is the place to be every Thursday evening during the summer. Open mic time starts at 6 p.m. and is followed by musical groups of all types from 7-9 p.m. The concerts are free and all are welcome.

The music started out real rockey this year,I was not even gonna go back until I heard The Tommey steel Band from my back porch so I walked uptown and thought I would give it another try.I think they can and must do better next year than what they are doing this year.(How about a Blues and BBQ like they used to have
