Ferndale High School hosted Oxford on Sept. 14 in an OAA Blue Division Dual Meet.
Oxford came out on top with a 133-45 score and is now 2-0 in the league and 3-0 overall.
The results were as follows:
In the 200 Medley Relay, Oxford’s A Relay of freshman Peyton Bailey, Nellie Charnstrom, junior Claire Alexander, and senior captain Victoria McClenaghan took first with a time of 2:05.49.
In the 200 Freestyle, Oxford sophomore Izzy Frechette came in first with a time of 2:30.83.
In the 200 Individual Medley, Oxford sophomore Ashlee Weltyk touched first with a County-Qualifying time of 2:18.84.
In the diving portion of the competition, junior Keira Veltigian claimed first with a score of 179.85.
In the 100 Butterfly, senior Captain Emily Vican took first with a time of 1:12.14.
In the 100 Freestyle, freshman Jenna Fistler came in first with a time of 57.97.
In the 500 Freestyle, Alexander touched first with a time of 5:59.01.
In the 200 Freestyle Relay, Oxford’s A Relay of Veltigian, Vican, senior captain Rachel Commons, and Fistler finished first with a time of 1:54.67.
In the 100 Backstroke, Weltyk claimed her second win of the night with another County-Qualifying time of 1:01.88.
In the 400 Freestyle Relay, Oxford’s A Relay of Commons, Charnstrom, Fistler, and Weltyk touched first with a time of 4:02.41.
On Thursday, September 21, Oxford hosts fellow blue division team, Southfield A&T.
