Swimmers dive into another win

The Oxford Wildcats continue to swim like champs after beating Southfield-Lathrup 137-40, which brings their record to 5-0.
In the 200 Medley Relay: Oxford’s A Relay of Sereno, Scepka, Warren, and Terry took first with a time of 1:52.22; 200 Freestyle: Junior Tanner Saxon placed first with a time of 2:21.21; 200 Individual Medley: Junior Travis Butler finished first with a time of 2:30.01. 50 Freestyle: Junior Mario Scribner took first with a time of 25.96.
Diving: Sophomore Mitchell Mulligan placed 1st with a personal best score of 177.05, which moves him up to fifth on the All-Time Top Ten List; 100 Butterfly: Junior Trenton Sabo claimed first place with a time of 1:02.27; 100 Freestyle: Sophomore Brandon Powers coasted into a first place finish with a time of 1:04.22. 500 Freestyle: Sophomore Michael Scepka took first with a personal-best time of 5:43.68, which puts him in ninth on the All-Time Top Ten List. 200 Freestyle Relay: Oxford’s A Relay of Powers, Terry, Sabo, and Vega finished first with a time of 1:38.66. 100 Backstroke: Tanner Saxon claimed his second win of the night with a time of 1:09.97. 100 Breaststroke: Junior Tyler Stresky took first with a time of 1:18.23. 400 Freestyle Relay: Oxford’s A Relay of Terry, Powers, Sabo, and Vega came in first with a time of 3:47.35.
The boys will the take the pool at home on Thursday against Ferndale. The meet begins at 6 p.m.
