The Wildcat swimmers ended in a 90-90 tie last week after battling against The Phoenix, a joint team of Farmington High and Farmington Harrison.
Based on past results with Rochester and Stoney Creek, Head Coach Jackie Rank, expects the end of the season league meet to be ‘very interesting.?
200 Medley Relay: Oxford’s A Relay of Stresky, Vega, Terry and Grove came in first with a time of 1:48.90. 200 Freestyle: Cheyne Stresky came in first with a season-best time of 1:51.46. Jake Tasch and Trenton Sabo finished in fourth and fifth place respectively. 200 Individual Medley: Armando Vega took third with a time of 2:19.45. Garrett Warren rounded out the top five.
In 50 Freestyle: Chad Scribner came in second with a personal best time of 23.95.
Mario Scribner took fifth. Diving: Jared Tasch finished in first with a score of 241.70. Brandon Barrows took second. 100 Butterfly: Sean Terry took second with a season-best time of 58.79. Jonah Grove finished in fourth with a personal best time. 100 Freestyle: Chad Scribner came in second with a time of 52.57. Trenton Sabo took third with a personal best time. 500 Freestyle: Cheyne Stresky finished in first with a time of 5:00.68. Jake Tasch came in fifth place.
200 Freestyle Relay: Oxford’s A Relay of Vega, Tasch, Scribner, and Tasch took second with a time of 1:39.56. 100 Backstroke: Sean Terry came in 1st with a personal best time of 1:03.01. Garret Warren and Lucas Sereno finished in fourth and fifth place respectively. 100 Breaststroke: 1 – 2 – 3 finish for Oxford with Jonah Grove leading the way with a time of 1:13.93. Armando Vega came in second and Travis Butler finished in third with a personal best time. 400 Freestyle Relay: Oxford’s A Relay of Scribner, Tasch, Terry, and Stresky took first with a time of 3:31.44.

The Wildcats will swim away on Thursday against the Clarkston Wolves. The meet will begin at 6 p.m. at Clarkston High School.
