Those looking to silmultaneously support two worthy causes are in luck.
T-shirts are now on sale for $10 each at Red Knapp’s American Grill in downtown Oxford (2 N. Washington St.) and The Oxford Leader office (666 S. Lapeer Rd.).
These green-and-white fashion statements combine the spirit of the Lone Ranger (Oxford’s claim to fame) with the Spartan pride felt by Michigan State University fans.
Half of the proceeds from each shirt sold will benefit the the family of Roy Curtis Lueders, a 2016 Oxford High School graduate who passed away on June 15, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
The other half of the proceeds will be put toward the Fifth Annual Lone Ranger Parade and Festival to be held on Saturday, Aug. 5 along M-24 and throughout in downtown Oxford.
