The Wildcats tennis team bounced back from its loss to Royal Oak last week in a September 25 game against Ferndale with a 6-2 win.

In singles play, Oxford had wins by #1 Singles – Lauren Opalewski (6-0,6-2), #2 Singles – Connor Romine (6-3,6-3), and #4 Singles – Trevor Wallace (6-0,6-0).

In doubles play, Oxford had wins by #1 Doubles – Drew Galley & Brock Heilig (7-6,4-6,10-8), #2 Doubles – Jonathon Robb & Brenden Hamari (6-0,6-2), and #4 Doubles – Nolan Kutchey & Cameron Mumbrue (6-1,6-2).

Last week, the team fell to Royal Oak, September 20, with a 5-3 score.

That evening, Oxford had wins from #1 Singles – Lauren Opalewski (6-0,6-1), #4 Singles – Trevor Wallace (6-3,6-2), and #2 Doubles – Jonathon Robb and Brenden Hamari (7-6,6-1).

Nolan Kutchey also notched his second consecutive win at #1 Singles for the JV squad (6-3,6-4).
