On the right, Christian Mills, owner of the Legacy Center on M-24, just north of Oxford Village, received recognition this past Saturday morning. At their September meeting, members of the John Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented Mills with a Community Service Award. According to DAR member Debbie Mick, pictured, he was given the award because of “all of the contributions he made by closing his business and offering Legacy 925 as a gathering place and safe atmosphere for students and their parents after the shooting. Those who took advantage were allowed to use the equipment free of charge.” Photo by D. Rush
