Thanks to Ortonville community for Christmas in the Village

To the editor:
Once again Christmas in the Village was a huge success!
Thanks to the enormous participation of the hundreds of parade entrants, along with both the Brandon and Goodrich High School bands and fire departments, sheriff department, scout troops, area churches, merchants, dignitaries, and Santa Clause, the people of the community saw the largest participation in a festive celebration of the holidays.
Thanks to the more than 37 merchants who sponsored thousands of dollars in gifts, and who gave their time to make sure the event was a complete success.
A sincere thank you to the eight restaurants from Goodrich and Ortonville, who participated in the success of the ‘TOOGOOD’ Taste of Ortonville and Goodrich.
Thanks to the residents who participated in the decoration tour and to the pride of the downtown businesses for putting on their finest to welcome our visitors.
A hearty thanks to The Ortonville Chamber of Commerce for their participation in initiating the success of this seasonal event.
Thanks to the thousands of residents and visitors who came to enjoy the spirit at the annual Christmas in the Village.
Without all of your caring and giving the day would not have been such a tremendous success.
