It was a damp and foggy evening – the perfect setting for a Sherlock Holmes-style mystery.
But the sleuthing wasn’t taking place on the sinister and shadowy streets of 19th-century London.
The game was afoot inside the cozy confines of the Oxford Public Library.
On Friday, the library hosted a “Sherlock-In,” during which a group of young consulting detectives worked together to solve a murder.
They examined evidence, carefully studied the suspects for motive and opportunity, looked for clues and employed some good old-fashioned deductive reasoning.
In the end, the perpetrator was caught and pizza was eaten.
