A Groveland Township man who pleaded no contest to indecent exposure after police found him naked on Brandon High School property last year has been given 18 months probation.
John Hilton Carr, 67, was sentenced April 20 by 52-2 District Court Judge Kelley Kostin. Terms of his probation include 20 hours of community service, completion of sex offender counseling, and no return to BHS.
According to police reports, deputies responded to a panic alarm at about 11:30 p.m. on June 2 at the high school, located at 1025 S. Ortonville Road. Upon arrival, the deputies found Carr driving a vehicle completely nude.
In Carr’s vehicle, the deputies observed binoculars and Kleenex in the cup holders, Curel Lotion in the driver’s door storage compartment, a bag of animal crackers and Sweet Tarts candy on the front passenger seat and more bags of candy on the backseat, as well as a BHS calendar.
