A total of 75 runners and walkers braved temperatures in the 30s to participate in the annual Turkey Trot this past Saturday morning at Seymour Lake Township Park.

Sponsored by Meijer and organized by the Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Department, the event consisted of a 5-kilometer run and a 2-kilometer walk inside the park’s confines. Males and females who finished first in their respective age categories were each awarded a frozen turkey. For photos, please pick up a copy of the Oxford Leader for $1.
