The residents of Crescent Hill Subdivision were hit hard by vandalism the night of July 23.
Brandon Township Public Safety Aide Larry Roberts said several acts of vandalism, including spray painting graffiti on several cars, vans and garage doors, occurred that evening at the subdivision, located on Mill Street.
He said he received calls reporting vandalism in the subdivision between 8-11 a.m. July 24.
‘Because it happened in the middle of the night, they (the subdivision residents) didn’t discover the vandalism until this morning,? Roberts said.
As of press time, Roberts said he did not have a full report on the amount of damage caused in the area, but he said he should have a better idea of the extent of the damage July 25.
He said the vandalism in the subdivision is unprecedented. ‘We’ve not had this problem before,? Roberts said.
