OXFORD — The Oxford Village Council voted to renew its IT agreement with Oakland County on March 11.
The agreement is for five years, and will continue providing several services to the village, according to village documents.
Village Manager Joe Madore said the village gets the use out of its CLEMIS service for the police department. CLEMIS stands for Court and Law Enforcement Management Information System, and is an information management system operated and maintained by the CLEMIS division of the county, according to village documents.
CLEMIS can be used to dispatch police and fire units, for example. The village uses it for police reporting and more.
Madore also said the village uses the agreement’s bill-paying services.
Other IT services provided through the agreement include online payments, over-the-counter payments, the ability to pay local taxes, a jury management system, a collaborative asset management system (CAMS) providing for the use of information related to public assets, data center use and services, Oaknet connectivity, internet service, arcGIS online, data sharing and pictometery-licensed products.
