Oxford struggled to find its groove as it dropped game 1 to Lake Orion with a 14-5 score on May 14.

The Wildcats captured the lead in the first inning when Shae Walters drove in 2 runs when he doubled.

Lake Orion overtook the Wildcats for good with 4 runs in the 4^th inning.

The Dragons added 2 in the 6^th and 4 in the 7^th. Evan Brunning took the loss allowing 6 hits, 5 strikeouts, and 4 earned runs.

Drew Carpenter lead the offense going 2 for 3.

Coleton Campbell and Shae Walters each added 2 RBI’s.
