He was arraigned Nov. 26 in Rochester Hills 52-3 District Court. Bond was set at 10 percent of $75,000 cash or surety. Bryant remains lodged in the Oakland County Jail.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s report, Bryant physically assaulted both his 26-year-old wife and 59-year-old mother, then grabbed a steak knife and started “slashing and swinging” at both of them. He allegedly cut his wife’s face multiple times.

Prior to the alleged assault, Bryant had been drinking and was upset that his teenage daughter didn’t want to spend Thanksgiving with him “because she didn’t want any fighting or yelling,” the report stated.
