Water customers asked to restrict use

Due to the dry weather, water usage is up in Oxford Township. As a result, the water storage towers are getting low, which can result in low pressure, according to Supervisor Bill Dunn.

To help ensure adequate pressure for everyone, township water customers are being asked to not water their lawns, landscaping or subdivision common areas from 5-9 a.m. and from 5-9 p.m.

Also, houses with even-number addresses are asked to limit their lawn sprinkling to Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Odd-number addresses are asked to sprinkle on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
