Siobhan Justine Kelly was found inside the 1430 S. Lapeer Rd. store by Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies, who were dispatched after a security alarm was tripped at 11:30 p.m.

When interviewed by deputies, Kelly indicated she broke into the store “to vandalize it and to steal cigarettes” because she has “no money” and is angry, according to the sheriff’s report.

“Throughout the interview, (Kelly) rambled on about her family and how no one cares about her,” the deputy wrote.

Kelly told investigators that one of her neighbors works at Dollar General and this individual hit her with a vehicle two to three years ago and “left her in the road.”

In the report, the deputy noted that Kelly “has been committed for mental health reasons a couple of times recently.”

The store manager, a 48-year-old Oxford woman, told deputies that Kelly is her neighbor and she had been banned from Dollar General due to “past behavioral problems,” the report stated.

Kelly was scheduled to be arraigned on the morning of Sept. 4 in Rochester Hills 52-3 District Court.
