Leonard Elementary celebrated the arrival of spring Friday night with the school’s annual Spring Fair. There was all kinds of fun to be had as kids rode a mechanical bull, played games, got their faces painted and shot each other with air cannons. Winter is over! Hooray!

It was a fun afternoon Saturday at downtown Oxford’s Sweet & Savory Bake Shop as kids gathered to decorate Easter cookies shaped like eggs and bunnies. They coated them with brightly-colored icing and piled on the sprinkles, then gobbled them up. Yummy!
