BP couple charged with embezzling

An employee at the BP Gas Station on Joslyn Road has been charged with embezzlement, after multiple videos from store cameras showed both her and her husband stealing from the store.
According to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, the employee, Suzanne Miller, a 41-year-old Judah Road resident, and her husband, Kraig Miller, were both arraigned on May 13, and held on $5,000 bonds.
One video feed showed Kraig changing the video feed on a camera, as Suzanne stood by without taking action. The owner reported 29 cartons of cigarettes, valued at $47 a piece, missing the next day.
The OCSD report noted that another video showed Kraig taking money from the cash register, and placing it into his jeans.
The situation was first reported by the BP store owner on May 8.
The female subject should not be confused with Judah Road neighbor Suzan Miller, who is known as ‘The Sign Lady.?
