Cagers continue to struggle

The Winterfest homecoming this past Friday saw Holly handing the Oxford b-ballers a tough 54-68 loss.
Once again, the Wildcats came into the game strong during the first half, evening up the score several times. However, their momentum faltered and they lost their push.
Scoring for the Wildcats were Ryan Stull with 19, Andy Bukoski with 14, Chris Keener with five, Casey Mick with four, Jeff Preutz with three, Bryan Mattack with three, Kevin Boni with two, Chris Glass with two, Joe Fenorinchik with two and Chris Schnur with one.
Leading the way in rebounds were Bukoski with nine and Stull with six. Mattack and Keener followed their teammates’ lead with four steals each. Mattack also had five assists.
On Tuesday, the Wildcats were handed another hard loss by Milford. The final score stood 56-36.
Bukoski again led the way with eight points, and he was followed closely by fellow teammates Anthony Bryant and Chris Glass each with four.
“Bryant had a good game last night,” said coach Steve Laidlaw.
In addition to points, Bryant also had two steals, and Glass kept his game going by adding in two assists and two rebounds. Joe Fenorinchik had four rebounds.
The Cats play again at home on Tuesday against Brandon.
