Pink treats and fun for good cause

Downtown Clarkston businesses teamed up last Thurday for the annual Paint the Town Pink. While patrons visited the different stores for shopping and exploring, they were also treated to refreshments as the businesses raised money for Sister & Sister, an organization which provides free mammograms. Over $400 was raised during this year’s event.

Costumed fun at Friendly Forest

The weather was cold, cloudy, and sometimes wet, but spirits were warm as costumed children lined up in Clintonwood Park last Saturday for this year’s Friendly Forest. Clarkston Optimists and volunteers also dressed in costumes at stops along the trail to pass out candy to the kids at the annual Halloween event.
