Fund-raising for our furry friends

The Oxford-based K-9 Stray Rescue League held its Fourth Annual Wag, Walk & Run fund-raiser Saturday morning at Powell Lake Twp. Park. Approximately 275 people participated in the event, raising a little more than $6,000 for the group, which provides top-notch shelter and care for homeless dogs until they are adopted.
