Ed and Catherine Brakefield served as Grand Marshals of the 2016 Strawberry Festival parade. Ed is retiring this year after spending the last 20 years as an Addison Township trustee. Cathy is an accomplished local author. Both are equestrians and friends of the Poly Ann Trail.

Storytime in the park

Kids and parents gathered in downtown Oxford July 12 for storytime put on by the Oxford Public Library. Stretched out on the cool grass with soft blankets, the kids were enthralled as they listened, learned and enjoyed.  

A berry good time for all!

On Saturday, downtown Leonard played host to the 64th Annual Strawberry Festival. As usual, there were all sorts of fun things to see and do for youngsters.
