Grads party night away!

After receiving their diplomas at the DTE Energy Music Theatre May 26, members of Oxford High’s Class of 2016 returned to the school for the Senior All Night Party. The newly-minted graduates rode tricycles and a mechanical bull, played blackjack and other casino games, and enjoyed their last night together as a class.

Sheer power

Last week, Oxford High School senior Connor Bandel qualified for the state championships in discus throw and shot put. During the regional competition held at Lake Orion High School, Bandel had a discus throw that measured 189 feet, 2 inches and his shot put distance was 61 feet, 11 inches. Photo by Dan Shriner.
