Chriss Allen Broome, of Oxford, passed away on Oct. 18, 2018. He was 58.

Born on Sept. 24, 1960 in Pontiac, Chriss was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved many types of music, especially rock.

Chriss was a certified master mechanic for many years. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years, fishing in his later years and was always a motorcycle enthusiast.

Chriss is survived by his wife Michelle Broome; daughter Heidi (Ben) Broome; daughter Amanda Hall; son Matt (Haley) Broome; grandchildren Emily, Sophia, Preston, Ethan, Blake, Kali, and Michael; sister Tori Broome; former wife Nancy Broome; also many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Broome.

A funeral service was held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors – Capstick Chapel on Oct. 23. Memorials to the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center.
