In our 29th week of reporting local COVID numbers, our area saw an uptick in recent cases, and in total cases. According to numbers provided by Oakland County, last we reported there were a total of 239 cases from Leonard, west to Oxford. This week, 255. Recent cases increased from 50 to 54. The number of deaths for our area stayed at six since Sept. 21.
The 48371 ZIP saw the largest increase in a week, from 195 total cases to 208 cases; and in recent cases from 42 to 45 this week. The 48367 saw a decrease in recent from six to five this week; and an increase total cases — by one. The 48370 ZIP saw an increase in recent cases from two to four; and total cases from nine to 11.
