A two-vehicle collision on M-24, north of Minnetonka Road, around 12:22 a.m. Saturday sent one driver to the hospital.
According to information released by the Oxford Village Police and Oakland County Sheriff’s Dept., the incident occurred when a 1996 Dodge driven by a 24-year-old Metamora man rear-ended a Silverado Truck at a ‘high rate of speed.?
The Metamora man was transported to Genesys Hospital in serious condition. He’s now in stable condition. His 6-year-old female passenger was uninjured. The driver of the Silverado was also uninjured.
The accident is still under investigation, according to village police.
