Frank L. Kidder

Frank L. Kidder, a resident of Oxford since 1946, passed away June 24, 2016. He was 93.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Ruby Kidder (Boynton) and his sister Maude Sterly. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 67 years, Vada Kidder (Collier); his loving children Wayne (Denise) Kidder, Erik (Cori) Kidder, John (Orena) and Valerie (Timothy) Walton; Grandchildren: Fern, Paul, Wayne II, Jack, Joshua, Jacob, Jylene, Julee, Elizabeth, Timothy, John and Matthew; and great-grandchildren: Cooper, Wayne III, Jayla, Ethan, Jace, Jayde and two on the way.

Frank was a WWII veteran, and worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years.

Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford, Friday, July 1 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at the funeral home at 10 a.m.

Interment will take place at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Oxford with military honors. Visitation will take place Thursday, June 30 from 4-7 p.m.

  1. We attended church with Frank & Vada for many years. They were friends of my parents, Paul & Estelle (Tillie) Cook, my sisters, Doras, Roberta, Dottie, and my husband, Lyn & me. We will remember him not only as a friend, but a gentleman. Heaven is sweeter today with Frank.

  2. Mr. Kidder was a very nice man his entire life. I am sure he will be missed by all that had the pleasure to know him. RIP
