Making the existing path at Orion Township Friendship Park more accessible, as well as creating more handicapped parking there, will soon be a reality.
The project will be done by Pro-Line Asphalt Paving. The company was the winning bidder at $41,492 and 10 percent contingency, to pave the existing path and create additional parking.
Funds for the project will come from Community Development Block Grant funds, the Friendship Park fund and the General Capital Improvement Fund.
