The Wildcats? Varsity Girls golf team lost all four matches they played this week, dropping the team’s record to 2-5.
The week ended on Monday, Sept. 14 with a 187-209 loss against Fenton. Senior Taylor Holtshouser lead the Wildcats with a 48.
On Friday, Sept. 11 the girls came up just short against Macomb Lutheran, 201-217. Senior Anna Tomaka shot a 49 to lead the Wildcats.
The Wildcats? took on Birmingham Groves on Thursday, Sept. 10 and lost by nine strokes 213-222. Tomaka led the Wildcats with a 52.
In the first match of the week on Sept. 9, the girls traveled to Lapeer West and lost 185-220. Tomaka was the top scorer for the Wildcats, firing a 53.
‘The team scores are coming down,? said Coach Terry Kelley. ‘The girls are working really hard, so I have a feeling that we are going to surprise some people.?
The next match for the girls is against Brandon on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
