Congratulations to Leonard Elementary fifth grader Brian Randall for winning the school’s National Geography Bee sponsored by National Geographic.
Randall knew which continent all lines of longitude meet (Antarctica) and that Red Sqaure is in Russia, even though he said geography ‘isn’t my favorite subject.?
As the school winner, Randall completed an exam which will be used to determine a state winner in May.
He also received a medal for being the school winner.
