He shoots . . . He scores!

It was a night of fun for both kids and parents. On Friday, 125 kids ages 6 to 12 invaded Oxford Elementary as part of ‘Kick the Kids Out!,? hosted by Oxford Twp. Parks and Recreation. For a mere $5 per child parents got to leave their kids at the school from 6 to 10 p.m., so they could enjoy an evening of adult freedom. Basketball, soccer, arts and crafts, board games, movies and pizza kept the kids occupied while mom and dad had fun elsewhere. The program was such a hit, many parents suggested Parks and Rec. do it once a month. But it’s more likely to be done twice a year, according to Parks and Rec. representative Becky Paquin.
