History comes alive!

John F. Kennedy, Orville Wright, Betsy Ross, John Wayne, Albert Einstein and Ulysses S. Grant were among the special visitors to Clear Lake Elementary last week.
The school’s cafeteria was transformed into a ‘living wax museum? as fourth-graders in Melanie Royster’s class portrayed famous people ranging from historical figures to modern day sports stars like Steve Yzerman and Shawn Johnson.
Dressed as their characters, the ‘wax figures? recounted the fascinating details of their influential lives as their fellow students listened and took copious notes.
