Lady Cats struggling, but hopeful

The Oxford Lady Cats have had a rough start to their softball season, but hopes are high they’ll improve.
They lost 11-0 against Rochester Adams last Thursday. Sophomore Lauren Lacroix had the only hit of the day and was 1-for-2. ‘Our six defensive errors were costly,? Coach Sue Roeher said.
The Lady Cats took on Richmond on Saturday, but lost 15-0 and 24-7 in a double header.
Monday’s double header against Flint Kearsley also proved to be a tough match, but coach Roeher said the games were ‘hard fought.?
The girls lost 10-0 in game one, with Jamie Badia batting 1-for-3.
Game two was a 9-4 defeat, but Mary Bono, Kelsey Oliver, Jamie Badia, Tiffany West, Sarah Mersino all had hits.
The Lady Cats will take on Davison on April 25.
