Kimberly Hartman, a 55-year-old Leonard woman, died last week in a single-vehicle traffic accident.

According to Oakland County Sheriff’s deputy reports, Hartman was driving south on Lake George Rd. around Drahner Rd. in Addison Township on the morning of Monday, Feb. 7 when her 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck left the roadway and hit a tree around 5:30 a.m. First responders declared Hartman dead at the scene.

Hartman was not wearing a seatbelt. Neither drugs or alcohol are suspected to have contributed to the crash. An investigation into the accident by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team is ongoing.
