The Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas parade went off without a hitch last Saturday. Seventy-four entries braved the cold to show off their wild west-themed floats and outfits.
Oxford Cub Scout Pack 366 (pictured) won Best Overall Float. Nine other entries also won awards for their entries. And the winners are? Best Commercial Walking: Oxford Public Library, Best Commercial Float: Wells Fargo, Best Children’s Walking Entry: Sunshine Group, Best Children’s Float: Oxford Cub Scout Pack 4, Best Service Organization: Oxford Twp. Parks and Rec, Best Religious Float: King of Kings Lutheran Church, Best Animal Entry: Metamora Canine Academy, Best Vehicle Entry: Oxford Fire Department, Best Theme Entry: Center Stage Dane.
