The OHS Girls Varsity golfers kicked off the 2017 season at the fourth annual Lapeer Lightning Summer Tune Up on Aug. 18, placing 16th, shooting a 420 score.

The team was led by sophomore Samantha Malinich with her 102. Captain Lauren Yankee followed with a 103. Seniors Megan Mancini and Abby Smiles secured 105 and 110 scores respectively.

On Aug. 29, the Lady Wildcats go up against Farmington at an invitational at 8 a.m. which will be held at Glen Oaks Metro Park (30500 W 13 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills).
