Oxford Twp. is seeking public input as it begins the process of updating its master plan.

Residents and property owners are being asked to complete a 25-question online survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/KX7S79H.

The survey is seeking the public’s thoughts on the township’s future development, safety paths, traffic and roads, open space, affordable housing, parks, community character and water quality.

A link to the survey is also available at the township website www.oxfordtownship.net.

With past master plan updates, the township has hosted workshops and invited the public to attend and make comments.

However, attendance is typically low.

Planning commissioners felt an online survey would garner a greater response and be much more convenient for residents and property owners.

Participants are only allowed to take it once per computer. The survey will be online until mid-May.

Paper copies of the survey are available at the Oxford Township office (300 Dunlap Rd., just north of Seymour Lake Rd.).
