Post-election observations

What has become of our country?

Everyone has the right to protest as long as they don’t interfere with the rights of others but never have I seen such hatred and vitriol from people who are supposed to be so tolerant and peace-loving (well, as long as you don’t disagree with them).

I’m talking about some of the current Clinton voters who are crying and throwing tantrums like spoiled children after losing a fair election. Giuliani nailed it calling them “spoiled crybabies.”

They are supposed to be adults if they are old enough to vote, and yet they cry and they need time off from classes/exams/work etc. If they are protesting the electoral college system, why are they doing it now?

Had the election gone the other way would they still be protesting it?

Where was all the rioting, vandalism, and physical violence against Obama supporters when he won two elections and those that did not support him were disappointed and upset?

Sure there were some demonstrations but everyone accepted the outcome and got back to their lives.

Nothing like we are witnessing now.

I seem to recall Obama saying “elections have consequences” and “get over it.”

Liberal hypocrisy is palpable.

Yes, Trump has said some things that were crude and boorish. There is no excuse for that, but it pales in comparison to the things Clinton has done over the years.

Going all the way back to Watergate and Whitewater, to demonizing the women that were victims of her husbands’ sexual abuse (did you tell your children about that while screaming Trump was a misogynist?) to leaving four Americans to be murdered and lying about it, and the list goes on.

After eight years of being falsely labeled racist, bigot, uneducated, misogynistic, homophobic and mocked for Christian beliefs it really isn’t that hard to see why the Left lost and lost big!

I am guilty of a bit of schadenfreude but now life goes on and I am hopeful for the direction the country will take.

Now let the bitter name-calling continue because I disagree with your point of view.
