ADDISON TOWNSHIP PUBLIC NOTICE
PUBLIC HEARING FOR
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PY 2021
To the residents and property owners of Addison Township, Oakland County, MI and any other interested parties, notice is hereby given that the Addison Township board shall meet on February 15, 2021 and hold a Public Hearing in accordance with the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) requirements. The Meeting and Public Hearing will be held by electronic remote access. The Meeting and Public Hearing shall be called to order at 6:00pm or shortly after. Addison Township address is 1440 Rochester Rd., Leonard, MI, 48367. Phone (248) 628-5409.
Electronic remote access, in accordance Public Act 228 of 2020, implemented in response to COVID-19 social distancing requirements and the limitations on the number of individuals in a meeting hall. The Public Hearing is for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding year 2021. The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of CDBG funds, and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low to moderate income persons. The Township will consider any public comments on this matter at this time. The hearing is open to the public to voice their views or you may submit your comments in writing prior to the hearing. Please address those comments to the Clerk of the Township at the address above.
Approximately $9,667.00 may be available to the Township to fund eligible projects that principally benefit low to moderate income persons. Please contact the Supervisor’s office if you have further questions or concerns on CDBG funding for the 2021 program year.
