SYNOPSIS
Of the Regular Meeting of the Charter Township of Oxford Board of Trustees held on June 14, 2023 at the
Oxford Township Hall Meeting Room.
PRESENT: Supervisor Curtis, Clerk Wright, Treasurer Ferrari, Trustee Colvin, Trustee Nold, Trustee Payne
ABSENT: Trustee Charles
The following actions were taken:
Approved the Agenda as presented.
Approved to meet in Closed Session.
Approved to return to Open Session at 6:25 p.m.
Approved to authorize The Kelly Firm to follow up with what was discussed in Closed Session.
Approved the Consent Agenda as presented.
Approved the 2022 Audited Financial Report for the Fiscal Year ended December 31, 2022.
Approved to open the Public Hearing at 6:42 p.m. to discuss the establishment of the Paint Lake Canal Special
Assessment District.
Approved to close the Public Hearing at 6:43 p.m. to discuss the establishment of the Paint Lake Canal Special
Assessment District.
Approved the Second Reading of the Amendments to Zoning Ordinance to Authorize Existing Medical
Marihuana Retailer Facilities to Operate as Adult-Use Marihuana Retailers.
Approved Resolution No. 4 for Paint Lake Canal Special Assessment District.
Approved to opt into Oakland County’s Urban County Community Development Block Grant programs for the
program years 2024, 2025 and 2026.
Approved to award the Oxford Township parking lot improvements project to True North Asphalt, LLC in the
amount of $134,935.00.
Approved to deny the proposed zoning map amendment for P-04-21-200-002 and P-04-21-200-005.
Approved to adopt the Resolution related to the suspension of business hours of operation on July 3, 2023 for
calendar year 2023.
Approved to waive the requirement to provide a Development Agreement for the property located at 411 North
Oxford Road.
Approved to purchase the permanent easement for a safety path from JP Morgan Chase Bank as presented in
the amount of $3,676.00.
Approved to require that all furture Oxford Township Safety Path Cash in lieu of Agreements also include
language that dedicates the proposed easement to the Charter Township of Oxford as part of this process.
Approved to authorize Sharpe Engineering to proceed with the final engineering and design for the Lakeville
Road Safety Path from Chinkapin Rill to Barr Road.
