Don’t forget to vote in the May 2 Clarkston Schools election. Two issues are on the ballot:
? The school district’s 19.2491 mill non-homestead request for 10 years.
? An open seat on the Clarkston School Board. Candidates are Joseph Armstrong and Renata Erickson. The position will be open when Secretary Shelia Hughes’s term ends in June. Hughes is not running for re-election.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and will remain open until 8 p.m. Voters in Independence, Springfield and Waterford Townships will cast their ballots in the same locations they vote in for general elections.
