Tough day for Cats at Elmer Ball Invite

Saturday was a tough day for the Wildcat track and field teams as they hosted the 55th Annual Elmer Ball Oxford Invitational.

The men’s team placed sixth out of 18 teams with a total of 37 points, while the women’s team finished 16th out of 17 teams with 5 points.

Oak Park dominated the day as both its men’s and women’s teams placed first. The men scored a total of 111 points, while the women scored 118 points.

Oxford’s teams were bested by archrival Lake Orion. The male Dragons finished third with 72 points, while the women’s team placed second with 105 points.
