Wildcats JV Blue Golfers chock up two wins

On April 28, the Boys Junior Varsity Blue golfers beat Davison High with a 178-204 score.

The conditions were great Friday evening and the boys shot some of the best golf this season. In the first group, Louis Krupa shot a solid 44 with great shots off the tee and second shots. Ryan Cobb shot a 45 with solid putting and all around good game.

In the second group, Coleton Campbell shot a 49 and even though there were ebbs and flows he hung in there to shot a good score. Jacob Sharpe shot a crisp 45 and is really starting to find his swing.

In the final group, Travis Durant shot a nice 44 with great shots and clutch putts. Adam Gillespie shot a solid 50 and was able to salvage his score with some great play on the last holes.

On Wednesday, April 26, the team beat Stoney Creek 184-204.

In the first group, Dean Petersen was able to hit great second shots to come in with a 46. Louis Krupa was working the ball great off the tee to come in with a 45.

In the second group, Coleton Campbell had an up and down day but was to grind it out for a 51. Ryan Cobb was able to get the short game working and scored a solid 45.

In the final group, Jacob Sharpe regrouped after a tough first hole and play consistent golf to bring in a 48. Alex Matczk had some great shots from all parts of the course and was able to bring in a 52.

The team is 4-0 overall.

On Thursday, May 4, the team will go up against Farmington at an invitational which will be held at Glen Oaks Country Club (30500 W. 13 Mile Rd.) at 9 a.m.
